GoodGuides

Goodwill GoodGuides is a national mentoring program  for youth between the ages of 12 and 17 who are at risk for making harmful choices such as dropping out of school or joining a gang, or are at risk for delinquency.  The goal of the GoodGuides program is to help these youth build career plans and skills and prepare for for school completion, post-secondary training and productive work.

Become a GoodGuides Mentor

Goodwill Goodguides Mentors strengthen lives, families and communities.  Volunteer today to become a GoodGuides Mentor and help empower youth with the confidence and courage to make positive choices in your community.  As a GoodGuides Mentor, you will:

 

  • Help prepare youth for good jobs and careers.
  • Empower young people to make positive decisions.
  • Contribute to the well-being and capabilities of youth.
  • Offer inspiration and hope to youth in our community.
  • Experience the joy of volunteering and making a difference in the lives of others.

Funded initially by a two-year grant from Goodwill Industries International from the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, the Goodwill GoodGuides program is run by 56 independent Goodwill agencies around the country.

With just one hour a week, you can become a Goodwill Goodguides Mentor!
