Training opportunities are flexible and endless, “We offer a computer classes to a group of individuals who are over the age of 49,” say Shauntia Lewis, the Operations Manager. “On a monthly basis we receive a large number of consumers who are 50 and older who are looking for employment; however, they did not know how to use a computer. So the center took a small group of seniors and began training them on basic computers skills. The class is a wonderful story of how we teach our citizens who have been forgotten about how to create a resume, email the resume and a complete a job application.”
