A car wash fundraiser to support our Goodwill GoodGuides Youth Mentoring program will be held this Saturday, June 16th from 8 AM until 5 PM at two convenient locations in Savannah: David Cha Seafood at 1218 Montgomery Street and the AutoZone at 30 W DeRenne Avenue. The proceeds will be going towards Goodwill GoodGuides youth for their annual Youth Career & Leadership Camp scheduled this summer. GoodGuides is a national mentoring program for youth between the ages of 12 and 17 who are at risk for making harmful choices such as dropping out of school or joining a gang, or are at risk for delinquency. The goal of the GoodGuides program is to help these youth build career plans and skills and prepare for school completion, post-secondary training and productive work.
